The MS DOCKVILLE is a two-day festival celebrating music and art in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg, taking place on August 15–16, 2025. Located directly by the Elbe River and just a 10-minute S-Bahn ride from the central station, the festival has a charm all its own: a surprising venue filled with art and lovingly crafted details, an enthusiastic and empathetic atmosphere with over 60,000 attendees, and a colorful, vibrant program spread across more than 12 stages, featuring nearly 140 bands, musicians, and DJs as well as over 200 individual events.
Musically, MS DOCKVILLE has long made a name for itself: a diverse lineup, unconfined by genre (though with a focus on indie, hip hop, and electronic music), brings together newcomers, fan favorites, international stars, and hidden gems. Beyond the music, the festival offers workshops, readings, playful experiences, and countless sources of inspiration. Altogether, more than 200 program highlights stretch from Thursday afternoon to Monday morning.
While MS DOCKVILLE is one of the most beautiful locations in Hamburg, its appeal extends far beyond the city. Every year, the festival attracts international visitors and locals alike, welcoming both campers and day guests to join in a three-day celebration of music, art, and discovery. With commitments to gender-equal booking, awareness initiatives, and social-political engagement, MS DOCKVILLE sets new standards—all without losing the feelings of freedom and hedonism that make it truly special.
