About the Festival

On 14 & 15 August 2026 we’re back in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg with a festival for music and art: MS DOCKVILLE returns for its 19th edition! Right by the Elbe, in the middle of the harbor and just 10 minutes by S-Bahn from Central Station — it’s gonna be beautiful.

What to expect? 100+ acts, bands and DJs across 10 stages — from the big Main Stage to hidden spots with club vibes. There’s a lot to discover musically: indie, hip hop, pop and electronic sounds. Alongside your faves and international headliners, you’ll find plenty of newcomers and hidden gems.

But MS DOCKVILLE is more than concerts and DJ sets: 150+ program points with art, readings, workshops and creative experiences. The site is packed with murals, installations and 50+ further works — an open-air gallery you can drift through.

Around 25,000 people per day celebrate together — on the dancefloor, in the camp or front row at the Main Stage. The vibe? Euphoric and relaxed at the same time. To make sure everyone feels good, we have a thoughtful awareness concept and enough space to recharge and connect.

MS DOCKVILLE is more than a festival for music and art — it’s set to be the best days of your summer, promise. 🧡

No tickets yet? Grab yours in the shop — the Weekend Ticket is currently at the Early Bird price. Be quick: the next price tier is coming soon. You can easily add a camping upgrade in the cart for just €50 per person.

FAQ

Here you will find answers to all the questions we are frequently asked. This will probably answer your question too.

General Information

Here you will find all the rules and information you need to know for your visit. We will be adding to this section step by step – if you cannot find the answer you are looking for now, please check back here again before the festival.

  • Don’t worry, the first acts will be announced soon! 👀
If you don’t want to miss any new additions, make sure to follow us on Instagram or sign up for our newsletter. That way, you’ll always be in the loop.

  • Because this way, we can take the festival to the next level and meet your requests for cheaper tickets. We’re focusing our program on two days – making these two days and nights even better.

The tickets are now much cheaper. We started with €99 in the early bird price category, and we’re still well below the ticket prices we’d have to charge for a three- or four-day festival.

Festivals have changed: fewer people camp, more people come for just one or two days – especially at an urban festival like MS DOCKVILLE. We’re keeping what works for us and for you; but we’re also adapting. And we have big plans for the lineup, the festival grounds, and the whole experience. It’s gonna be awesome!

  • Backpacks | Bags
Small bags, gym bags and jute bags may be taken onto the premises. The less stuff you have with you, the faster it will go at the entrance.

    Information about locker will follow

  • There are accessible grandstands and toilets on the festival grounds. We want to make sure every guest can move around freely at MS DOCKVILLE. The festival area is a previously unused, now greened industrial site, which we’ve optimized as much as possible for everyone. However, not all paths are paved. We’ll upload a new 2026 accesible site plan here soon.

If you have a “B” listed on your ID, you can bring a companion for free. Just buy your ticket and show your ID at the entrance.

  • Dogs, cats, mice, rats and also your guinea pigs do not belong on our campsite and therefore it is not allowed to bring them. Save your four-legged friends the stress and noise and leave them at home.

  • If you feel uncomfortable, have experienced discrimination or borderline violations, or generally need support, you can contact our awareness team. You can reach the awareness team by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or Telegram at +49 157 36407217. In general, all people who wear a pink disco ball on their body (as a vest, button or in any other form) are available for you and will support you if needed.

A festival without an awareness concept is not a good festival. Therefore, here are the points that we implement and require at MS DOCKVILLE. Please take care of each other, stick to it and let's make sure together that everyone has a nice and safe time at our festival.

    • We do not tolerate sexism, racism and other forms of discrimination at our events - symbols and signs of fascist structures and organizations are prohibited on our premises.

    • We do not tolerate verbal or physical violence - this includes staring and catcalling, (i.e. sexually assaultive shouting, talking, whistling).

    • Certain substances can shift your perception of your own and others' boundaries: Be sure to consume responsibly and behave considerately.

    • Respect the boundaries of those around you: No always means no and only an unequivocal yes means yes.

    • Only the affected person decides what they perceive as violence or discrimination.

    • We do not question the experience of affected people and believe them.

    • Keep your shirt on: presenting yourself topless is undesirable.

    • Don't photograph other people without their explicit permission.

With these rules, everyone can feel comfortable and have a nice and safe festival - please stick to them and look out for each other.

  • You’ll be able to pay with cash or card everywhere at MS DOCKVILLE. There will likely be an ATM on-site as well.

  • Filming and photography will take place at the festival for documentation and marketing purposes. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to this. Our photographers are instructed to ask for your permission before taking close-up or individual shots.

Professional recording equipment like DSLR cameras or interchangeable lenses is not allowed on-site without approval from MSDV. Small analog or disposable cameras are fine.

If you'd like to capture MS DOCKVILLE: generally, we reach out to photographers, filmmakers, and content creators ourselves, but you can apply for a photo pass via this form.

  • Children under 12 are not allowed on the festival grounds. Teens aged 16 and over can attend without a guardian until midnight. We’ll soon upload a form for supervisory consent ("parental consent form").

  • MS DOCKVILLE offers a diverse and extensive food selection. All the food is vegetarian or vegan – for sustainability reasons, we do not sell meat.

The drink selection is also vast – in addition to beer and soft drinks, there’s a wide variety of other beverages. We also have many non-alcoholic options!

There are also options for those with allergies. If you need to bring your own food, we have a solution for that. Just send us an email at info@kopfundsteine.de.

Arrival

The MSDV site is very easy to reach – you don't need a car. It's better to take the bus or come by bike.

  • Schlengendeich 12, 21107 Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg

The best way to reach the festival site (besides coming by car) is to enter Schlengendeich 12 in your maps app – the pedestrian bridge over the Veringkanal leads you straight to the wristband station.

  • If you're arriving by public transport, take the S3 or S5 towards Buxtehude/Neugraben/Stade and ride until Wilhelmsburg. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk.

  • The area is fully enclosed, and there are no parking spaces. Please leave your cars at home. If you’re being dropped off by car, there are drop-off zones where the car can stop, and you can unload your things. However, parking is not allowed.

  • Provide the address "Schluisgrove/Schlengendeich." Use the drop-off area at Schluisgrove.

  • Coming from the Old Elbe Tunnel or HafenCity? Head via "b. d. Wollkämmerei" to the paid bike hotel – or ride on to Schlengendeich 12 for limited public bike parking spots.

Heads-up: After 6 PM, you might face long waits at the Old Elbe Tunnel elevators, as the large freight lifts stop running in the evening. If you're arriving later or heading back at night, take an alternative route – for example, through HafenCity and across the Freihafen-Elbbrücke.

At the festival site, please use our signposted, paid bike parking areas ("Fahrradhotel"). Don’t lock your bikes to fences or barriers – thanks!

Camping

Our campsite is arguably the most beautiful in festival Germany. To camp, you will need a camping upgrade, which you can easily add to your shopping basket.

  • Camper van camping is coming back soon — we loved hanging with you and your vans. You’ll hear it first on our channels:

    👉 Newsletter
    👉 Instagram

    A few early details:
With a Bulli Ticket you get one parking spot for your van, bus or vehicle. Sleep comfy on what’s probably Germany’s most beautiful campground. Important: the Bulli Ticket only covers your vehicle. Every person still needs a Weekend Ticket plus a Camping Upgrade.

    The fine print:
You need one ticket per vehicle. Eligible vehicles are camper vans, motorhomes or estates up to 3.5 tonnes and 6.5 metres in length. Per ticket/vehicle you may set up one pagoda or one awning.

  • This year, we’ll have a shower camp with all the amenities, and it will be free to use – just like the excellent ceramic toilets!

  • We’ll update this section with all the info about what you can bring and what’s not allowed.

In general: no glass bottles, confetti, large sound systems, or generators are allowed at the campsite. Gas cartridges for camping stoves are allowed, up to a size of 450g. You can bring your own food, but there will also be a breakfast stand and other food options.

  • Please do not bring glass and glass bottles. Glass is absolutely forbidden on the entire campsite and confetti is also not allowed on the campsite. Large sound systems and power generators must stay at home as well.

  • There are supermarkets, pharmacies, and snack bars in Wilhelmsburg.
